Chavakkad Beach is one of the famous beaches in Thrissur as it is situated near the Guruvayur temple (located 6 km away from the Chavakkad beach). Chavakkad beach, located at a distance of 35 km away from Thrissur town, is surrounded by the fisherfolk community. You can see the beautiful sights of fish boats, freshly caught fish, sellers, etc, here on the beach. Another attraction of the beach is its estuary where the river meets the sea. This place is known as Azhimugam.

Munakkal Beach

Munakkal beach is also one of the famous beaches within the Thrissur district. It is situated around 10 km away from the Kodungallur town of Thrissur. The place is known for the Kodungallur Bhagavathi temple, Cheraman Mosque, and St. Thomas church. Don’t forget to visit the Kottapuram Fort, a historical place is located near Munakkal Beach.

Panchavadi Beach
